I first came across a package of twelve tiny bottles containing pieces of gemstone. The mineral 'Tiger eye' caught my attention most as I thought the pieces resembled bark from a tree trunk. I then looked online for things to glue them to and eventually found a 'Bonsai driftwood tree.' Other artists take pieces of driftwood and then assemble them permanently into the shape of a bonsai tree. I ordered their largest tree with eight branches so that I could use most of the other minerals included in the package as colored leaves. When the tree was delivered it was very skimpy so I bulked it up and shaped it to about 3 times its original size with glue. This item can be held and handled.
